Lost in knots!? Not with us!

Many avoid the wrap, because of the seemingly complicated winding techniques. But haven't we almost all learned how to swim?

First there is the deep, mostly cold water, which appears little trustable and once we understood how to swim, most of us you could not get out of the water again.

It may be something like that with binding wraps.

The wrapping techniques shown here represent only a small selection of the many possibilities. They are by no means exhaustive.

The most important criteria for proper wrapping techniques are:
- a slightly curved back of the baby
- the child's knees should always be slightly above its bottom
- adequate support of the head, especially for very young babies
- the baby's face should never face away from you
- make sure that the baby isn't pressed so tight against you that its airways are blocked
- and who wants to carry a heavy backpack should make sure that the knot of the wrap isn't underneath the backpack.

Take your time. The following winding instructions are best exercised with a partner plus the baby of course, as it will be much easier to put the baby into the wrap and check the correct position. With a little practice it will become quite simple.

And who is a little bit creative will soon realize that with such a wrap you can do much more than just traditional binding methods.

Have fun with trying out, practice and experiment!
